Yesterday while chatting with my friend I came to know that she is using her Gmail id with Live Messenger to chat with me. As a big fan of Microsoft products I was quiet surprised to see how come I don’t knew this. How to grab your friend’s Windows Live profile Image

Sometime your friends put some amazing images in their profile in Windows Live messneger. You may want to have same image in your profile image as well. Or you may want some images or sound for your personal use, that are played in Windows Live chat messenger.

Today in this tutorial, I will show you how you can grab images, sounds and other information that are exchanged from Windows Live Messenger. This trick might help you to grab and save several necessary things that you don’t’ want to miss while chatting.
By default, Windows stores temporarily accessed files in Temporary folder and so does Windows Live messenger.  To get messenger files you’ll have to go to Temporary folder and locate the folder named MessengerCache where Windows Live messenger stores its temporary files.
Temporary folder is usually hidden to normal users. In Windows it is inside Local Settings folder of User name, see image below:
In Windows vista and 7, it is inside Appdata and inside many subfolders, see image below.
It is not necessary to memorize these sub folder location. You can easily load temporary folder by this easy trick.
Go to Start> Run and type %temp%.
Be it Vista or XP, Temporary folder will pop-up.
In Temporary Folder, find and open MessengerCache folder.
There you’ll see lots of cached file.
Now let me demonstrate with some solid example. I want the profile images and some other files from this user’s window that I am chatting with.
Certainly try to open files with high size. And these high sized files either can be sound or Image. Since there is also sound folder for sound files, these files probably can be image files. Try to open it with your default image viewer.
Here it is:
Let’s try with another file.
There you go, you got the Windows live profile image. In this way you can use Temporary folders to get several other files like videos, audios, etc.

How to bypass survey without using any 3rd party tool

I was just checking out asli work and run into one of the old article  – How to bypass surveys. Surveys are really annoying, they just won’t let you access the content without completing them, but who has the time.
Talking about me I never completed any survey to see the content, bypassing survey is a very simple trick, just follow the below trick to bypass annoying surveys banner.
Whenever you visit any website/blog which pops up a survey banner to view their content all you need to do is disable Javascript from your browser and reload the page again and BINGO! now you will be able to see the website/blog.

For Firefox Users:

Go to Tools > Options > Content and uncheck Enable Javascript and click OK.

For Internet Explorer Users:

Go to Tools > Internet Options > Security Click on Custom Level button and scroll down a bit and Disable Active scripting

For Google Chrome Users:

Click on Options > Under The Hood > Content Settings and click on the “JavaScript” tab
Well, be careful, if you disable JavaScript on web browser, some of the website is not working well, because many websites are depend on the JavaScript function.

Protect from KeyloggersKeyloggers have been a major problem today as it does not require any prior knowledge of computers to use it. So hackers mainly use keyloggers to steal your passwords, credit card numbers and other confidential data.
Below are some methods through which you can protect your computer from keyloggers:

Use a Good Antivirus

This is the first and basic step that you need to take in order to protect your computer from keyloggers. Use a Good antivirus such as Kaspersky, Norton or Mcafee and update it regularly.

Use a Good Antispyware

Since keyloggers are basically spywares, if you are a frequent user of Internet then you could be exposed to thousands of keyloggers and spywares. So you should use a good antispyware such as NoAdware.

Antilogger can be Handy

Antiloggers are programs that detect the presence of keyloggers on a given computer. Over past few years, I have tested a lot of anti-logging programs and have found Zemana Antilogger as the best antilogger.
Zemana
Normally a keylogger can be easily detected by a Good Antivirus program, but hackers use some methods such as hexing, binding, crypting and similar techniques to make it harder to be detected by antivirus programs. In this case Zemana Antilogger comes handy as the program is specially developed to protect your system against harmful keyloggers.
Zemana Antilogger

Online Scanning

When ever you receive a suspicious file, you scan it with online scanners such as Multi engine antivirus scanner which scans your file with 24 antivirus engines and reports it back to you if the file is recognized as a virus or spyware. This ensures that none of the malicious programs can escape from being detected as there are 24 different antivirus engines are involved in the scanning process.

Sandboxie

Sandboxie is another great program to help you protect your computer against harmful keyloggers and spywares. Sandboxie runs your computer in an isolated space which prevents your program from making permanent changes to other programs in your computer.
When ever you receive a file that looks suspicious, just run the program with Sandboxie so even if it is a keylogger or any other virus it will not make permanent changes to your computer system.
Sandboxie
To run a program in Sandboxie follow the steps as mentioned below:
1. Open sandboxie and click on sandbox menu on the top
2. Now goto Default sandbox
3. Then click on run any program
4. Now select the file you wish to run in sandboxie and click open

Keyscrambler

Keyscrambler is one of the best protection against keyloggers that you can have, Keyscrambler is a small program which encrypts your typed keystrokes so even if the victim has installed a keylogger on your system, he or she will get encrypted keys. Keyscrambler currently supports Firefox, Internet explorer and other applications, however its premium version supports more than 160 applications.

Create All In One Installer For Your Favorite Applications

Whenever you re-install a clean copy of Windows in your PC or your friend’s PC, you’ll have to install all those large list of drivers and software for your new Windows. This might not be that hard job for normal people who just want to surf internet and do some chatting, as Windows Media Player and Internet explorer and various other similar inbuilt utilities are already available in Windows.
But in case you are software specific, for example, you want Picasa at any cost as image viewer and VLC media player as your media player then this is very time taking part because you’ll have to install it one by one. More over there are large list of software that you need then you’ll be in chain as you’ll have to click next, next, next, next, ok and finish button multiple times. At such moment anything that comes in your mind is all in one installer.
Today, let me introduce with the all in one installer. That is also available for free and only requires additional internet connection to go the setup process further.
Ninite.com’s easy all in one installer will make this thing possible and flexible. From Ninite’s home page, you can choose large list of applications that you often install in your fresh or upgraded version of Windows.
Choosing the application to be added in all in one time installer is rather easy. Just choose the applications you want to install from their large list.
Once you are satisfied with your selection click on Get Installer button. This will eventually load the download file.
Once the file has been downloaded, run it. The windows may ask your permission to run the installation file and you must grant the permission by clicking on Run button.
Let the installer initialize the setup process.
Once it initializes the setup process, it will start to download the files that you’ve chosen from the internet.
Once it downloads the file, it will automatically start installation process and notifies you when it completes.
If you are Linux savvy then you too have good news because, it’s available for linux only. Visit the Linux section of their page by clicking here.

Easily Find The Font In Specific Website

While surfing through various web pages, you might have notices some beautiful fonts. You may even desire to know which font is it and want to have it on your website too. Comparing each of the fonts visually from your eyes with other fonts is not a good way to determine the correct type of font.

If you have basic knowledge in web development and CSS, you’ll obviously look for the source code and fetch out the CSS code to know the fonts. Again it becomes time consuming, since searching fonts in CSS is really time eating job. Also new users will find this job tedious.
We have a small firefox utility to find out the font name, code named, Font Finder.
This firefox addons not only determines the font name but also other various settings applied to the current font. If you are a web developer then you’ll fall in love with this tool.
Download and install it in your firefox browser by clicking on the download link.
After the installation of add-on is complete, restart firefox.
Now load any web page with beautiful text.
Highlight the the part of text you want to analyze, Right click on it, go to FontFinder menu and click on analyze section.
It will load a JavaScript alert with all the information about selected font and its settings.
Hope this tutorial was helpful.

Save The Current Windows Session And Restore Them Later

Have you ever needed to restart your Windows, but you may not want to lose the open windows and current situation of your desktop. Hibernation also loads the windows session but it does not actually restart your PC actually. If you really need a cold boot then you’ll obviously lose the current situation. You might have wished that you could save the current session of Windows as you can do in browsers like Opera and Firefox. You’ll never notice it’s need until you have lots of windows open and working in all of the windows at once.
Well if you are worrying about this then no more worries. I am here with a step by step tutorial to guide you through every step you need to save the current session of your desktop for later restoration.
You’ll need Cache My work which can be downloaded from here.
After the page is loaded click on green download button as illustrated in image below:
After you downloaded the program, install and open it.
Using this tool is very simple and easy. Just check on the boxes favorable to you and click on save.
Next, go to Tools > Option. In new option window check on Restore Previous explorer windows at next logon.
Now you may close the window.
Now onwards, it will start to cache your windows when system is being booted and reload the cache in next system start.
Just like hibernate, it stores the current cache of windows to seprate location of your hard drive. Since catching needs writing hard drive, you’ll feel that your system is being slow while shutting down and loading up. This is not a big deal as it takes time to read and write data to and from hard drive.
Using this technique will possibly save a lot of time. This also enables you to get familiar with the environment you were in the screen before windows restart.
Hope this tutorial was helpful.

Free WIFI Software Downloads

Here I present you 2 free WIFI software that can recover WEP, WPA PSK keys and more. Enjoy!

1) WIFI Hacking Software

This tool has many different tools to hack and crack wifi so you can use your neighbours internet and do whatever. Tools for Windows and Linux also some nice extra tools!
Windows : Aircrack, Wireshark, Ettercap, Netstumbler, Airsnare, WIFIfofum, Wdriver, Pong, CommView, Airsnort, AiroPeek, Knsgem 2, Aptools, And A Nice PDF File
Linux Hacks: Airpwn, WEPcrack, Prismstumbler, WIFIscanner, Airfart, Magicmap, WPA-cracker , Wellenreiter , Void, Kismet, Cowpatty, WIFIzoo, And A Nice PDF File

2) AirCrack 2.1, AirSnort 0.2.6, AeroPeek 2.02

Aircrack ng is an 802.11 WEP and WPA PSK keys cracking program that can recover keys once enough data packets have been captured. It implements the standard FMS attack along with some optimizations like KoreK attacks, as well as the all new PTW attack, thus making the attack much faster compared to other WEP cracking tools. In fact, Aircrack ng is a set of tools for auditing wireless networks.
AirSnort is a wireless LAN (WLAN) tool which recovers encryption keys. AirSnort operates by passively monitoring transmissions, computing the encryption key when enough packets have been gathered. 802.11b, using the Wired Equivalent Protocol (WEP), is crippled with numerous security flaws. Most damning of these is the weakness described in Weaknesses in the Key Scheduling Algorithm of RC4 by Scott Fluhrer, Itsik Mantin and Adi Shamir. Adam Stubblefield was the first to implement this attack, but he has not made his software public. AirSnort, along with WEPCrack, which was released about the same time as AirSnort, are the first publicly available implementaions of this attack.
AiroPeek NX captures and decodes packets, with special emphasis on the 802.11 protocol. AiroPeek NX receives all wireless LAN packets based on user settable configuration parameters and stores these packets in memory. For example, you can set a filter to capture all packets, only 802.11 authentication request frames, or all frames except beacons frames. Just about any combination of packet types and protocols are possible.

View PSD and other image files without installing Photoshop

Yesterday, I requested my friend to send me the snapshot of the PSD file of the Wordpress design. But he claimed that his Photoshop CS2 has expired. He thought of going to his friend and copying the snapshot and again sending back to me. Photoshop Document itself was large size, therefore I asked for the snapshot. If I was going to accept his idea, then I would have to wait whole day for just a snapshot.
Rather I suggested him certain idea to view PSD files without the need of Photoshop. And that is what I want to share with my visitors as well.
With IrfanView, a 1.3 MB image viewing freeware utility, you can open almost all the images without need of any high level software. Here is a list of image files that I can open.

IrfanView is a freeware utility, licensed under End User License Agreement (EULA).
It is not only a viewer; rather you can edit the pictures there. Basically it supports cropping, cut, paste, copy, drawing tools, eraser tools etc. IrfanView is plug-in enabled, that means they have plug-in to make it more accessible and useful.

How to create a wordpress Upcomming Events Widget- A step by step tutorial

This Wordpress tutorial is targeted to those who are struggling for being a good Wordpress developer. This tutorial will be delivered in simplest term so that a newbie can easily understand what is going on the screen. After following this step by step tutorial, you’ll able to do following things:
  1. Create a very basic Wordpress widget acceptable for even version Wordpress 3.0.1
  2. Create a basic upcoming events widget which lists the scheduled articles.
Wordpress is created in PHP. So, you must know the basic coding knowledge in PHP. Except default Wordpress widgets, you’ll need to create a separate plugin to add separate thirdparty widget to your wordpress blog.

We are going to create a basic plugin first.
Before we start the coding part, lets go to Wordpress Admin panel and explore through the plugin control panel.
To go to Plugin control panel, at the left sidebar, click on Plugins.
This is the place where you can activate/disactivate or install/remove plugins. By default Wordpress stores all the plugin files in wp-content/plugin folder.
For each plugin, you can see various definations. The basic definations needed are, plugin name, plugin URI, description, author name, version and author’s website.
These all will be defined inside the plugin php code.
Let me show you how you can set the details of plugin and start the coding for new plugin.
Open up notepad, a very simple yet powerful text editor by Microsoft.
We must begin every PHP code by <?php  and end the code by ?>
<?php
/*
Plugin Name: Comming up
Plugin URI: http://www.hackspc.com
Description: Up comming posts
Author: suraZ Kayastha
Version: 1.0
Author URI: http://youcanhack.blogspot.com
*/
These are actually PHP comments held between /* */ but wordpress fetches these section for details about the plugin.
Wordpress Plugins are all about PHP functions (the division of codes that work for specific part).
Lets see what we can do with the functions to create a plugin that will load a new widget.

/* Function that will deliver all the necessary code contents in the sidebar */
function commingup_widget() {}
/* Function that is called by wordpress when the plugin is activated. It registers new widget called Coming Up */
function init_commingup(){
register_sidebar_widget("commingup", "commingup_widget");
}
/* Tells WordPress to call init_commingup when plugin is loaded */
add_action("plugins_loaded", "init_commingup");
Confused? Let me clear you what those codes do. The first function, commingup_widget(),  here is what will be displayed on the sidebar. Whatever HTML/PHP code you put here will be displayed as a sidebar widget. It can be links, texts or any other dynamic contents.

The second function, init_commingup(), is called by WordPress if the plugin is activated. It calls a WordPress function that will register a new widget which will be called “Coming Up” which will call our new widget.
Add action just tells WordPress to call the second function when the plugin is loaded.
That is done, you’ve successfully created a plugin that will deliver a new blank widget.
You may be wondering how you can place dynamic contents in your newly created widget plugin.
This is so simple to do if you know little bit PHP and HTML coding.
Now let’s forget what we’ve done above.
And let me show you the idea to get things ready for your widget.
Consider the following loop that will show the posts that are marked as scheduled posts.
<?php query_posts('showposts=5&post_status=future'); ?>
<?php if ( have_posts() ) : while ( have_posts() ) : the_post(); ?>
<h2><?php the_title(); ?></h2>
<span><?php the_time('j F Y'); ?></span></p>
<?php endwhile;
else: ?><p>No future events scheduled.</p>
<?php endif; ?>
The above code is just a basic posts loop that we have in your index.php page. Only the difference is, it is modified to view only title and scheduled date. Post_status=future makes is so much special. Hence all the posts except scheduled one are filtered out.
You can directly put the above code in any part of index.php. But, we are creating a widget right?
So we’ll modify that code to fit as a widget.
Here is the modified part of it:
echo '<li><h2>Comming up</h2>';
echo '<ul>';
query_posts('showposts=10&post_status=future');
if ( have_posts() ) : while ( have_posts() ) : the_post();
echo '<li><h4>'; the_title(); echo '</h4>';
echo '<span>'; the_time('j F Y'); echo '</span></li>';
endwhile;
else: echo '<p>No future events scheduled.</p>';
endif;
echo '</ul></li>';
We’ll place the above code in function commingup_widget().
When we combine the description code and the functions we’ll get the following setup of code.
<?php
/*
Plugin Name: Comming up
Plugin URI: http://youcanhack.blogspot.com
Description: Up comming posts
Author: suraZ Kayastha
Version: 1.0
Author URI: http://youcanhack.blogspot.com
*/
function commingup_widget() {
echo '<li><h2>Comming up</h2>';
echo '<ul>';
query_posts('showposts=10&post_status=future');
if ( have_posts() ) : while ( have_posts() ) : the_post();
echo '<li><h4>'; the_title(); echo '</h4>';
echo '<span>'; the_time('j F Y'); echo '</span></li>';
endwhile;
else: echo '<li><p>No future events scheduled.</p>';
endif;
echo '</ul></li>';
}
function init_commingup(){
register_sidebar_widget("commingup", "commingup_widget");
}
add_action("plugins_loaded", "init_commingup");
?>
See that? All the codes are enclosed in <?php ?>. Now all we need to do is save it as PHP file. Name it anything you want, I named it commingup.php.
Upload it to wp-content/plugins/commingup.
Go to plugin control panel in wordpress and activate it.
Now navigate to widget control panel, Right sidebar > Appearance > Widgets.
There you go, you’ll see the widget that you’ve just created.
Click and drag it to the sidebar.
Now reload your Wordpress website. If you have any scheduled post then it will list it as an upcoming event.
If nothing is scheduled then it will print “No future events scheduled”.
If you have any confusion, then comment us. We’ll have full support for this widget in our blog.
